Speakers Wanted for Best Practices 2020 Conference

Pittsburgh, PA – Best Practices EXPO & Conference announced a call for speakers for the third annual event scheduled for September 20-23 in Chicago. The event is devoted to optimizing onsite utilities including compressed air, blower, vacuum, pneumatics, motors, steam and cooling water systems with the focus on achieving environmental sustainability goals with energy/water conservation measures.

“We have a big opportunity to make a difference in our environment by optimizing onsite utilities,” says Rod Smith, Publisher, Smith Onandia Communications and sponsor of Best Practices EXPO & Conference. “We are looking for people to share practical advice on energy efficiency and water conservation strategies and inspire others to tap into the profitability of sustainability.”

Past speakers have included leaders from major manufacturing companies like General Mills, Fiat Chrysler Automotive Group, Bimbo Bakeries USA, Allergan Pharmaceuticals, Ball Beverage Packaging, Frito-Lay, Samsung Austin Semiconductor, Nissan North America and more.

The three-day conference features a four-track educational program. Presentations should encompass one or more of these themes.

  • Track 2-Facility Maintenance & Reliability
  • Track 3-Energy Conservation / IoT Monitoring
  • Track 4-Water Conservation / Energy Management

An addition to the main conference program is the New Technology Classroom on the EXPO floor. This speaking opportunity is open to exhibitors who would like the chance to present their products to visitors on the trade show floor.

The deadline for submissions is March 6, 2020. Entries can be submitted here. Speakers participating in the main conference program will receive complimentary access to the Conference, a $675 value.
