Geoclima Launches TMH Giant Range

08/12/2024

The Geoclima family expands further, introducing the TMH Giant range. This new series, which includes water-cooled chillers, stands out for its big, powerful compressor: Hanbell RTM100. This is an oil-free centrifugal compressor with magnetic levitation technology, capable of delivering up to 398.1 RT (1,400 kW) individually and 1,194.2 RT (4,200 kW) in parallel installations. Thanks to its "giant" performance, Hanbell is the ideal solution for both comfort and process applications that require high cooling capacity and an outlet water temperature between 39.2°F (4°C) and 57.2°F (14°C).

Geoclima has introduced the TMH Giant Range, which includes water-cooled chillers.

The TMH Giant units, equipped with a flooded evaporator and an optional economizer, offer several key benefits. Maintenance becomes simple and quick, thanks to the reduced number of compressors and components. Parallel installation of units allows for even higher cooling capacities, only requiring three compressors in total in order to deliver 1,194.2 RT. Additionally, parallel units can be equipped with a sequence controller, which ensures a more efficient management of parallel units, by activating the chillers based on the required cooling capacity.

The range supports R-134a and R-513A refrigerants, as well as the environmentally friendly HFO-R1234ze, which boasts a GWP (Global Warming Potential) of 6 and an ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential) of 0. TMH Giant chillers can also be customized with a range of optional features to meet the needs of any application, such as special materials, active harmonic filter, fast start function, dual power supply and automatic power switch. Among additional technologies, Geoclima also offers Onboard Touch, an online software that allows local download of chiller data for diagnostics and troubleshooting purposes.
